Installation guide for the PinLED Display-Set 10005

If you follow the steps the installation is very easy and safe.
    1. Unplug the main plug.
       

    2. Open the Backbox.

    3. Put the Display / Speaker Panel on the playfield cover glass.

    4. Disconnect the cables from the original display.

    5. Remove the four screws of the old display. You will need them later to mount the new display.

    6. Remove the old display.

    7. Get the new PinLED Display into a suitable position.

    8. Take the four spacers which are included in the PinLED Display-Set into a suitable position.

    9. Mount the display with the four screws.

    10. Connect the cables from the system 11 board to the new display. It is not possible to mix them up! The red wire on the flat cable is then on the left of the new PinLED Display board (Pin 1) and on the system 11 board to the right (Pin 1). The flat cable from the system 11 board goes to the connector in the middle of the PinLED Display board. The flat cable that goes to the Jackpot Display is connected later to the jack on the right of the PinLED Display board.

    11. Remove the old Jackpot display.

    12. Remove the old flat cable to the old Jackpot display ( it has not enough wires!).

    13. Lay the flat cable which is included in the PinLED Display-Set. When you put it through the hole off the wooden panel make sure that the red wire shows down.

    14. Connect the end of the flat cable to the PinLED Jackpot display and install it. You hear a "click" if the board is mounted probably.

    15. Connect the other end of the flat cable to the main PinLED Display board. It is the jack on the right side of the board.  

    16. Remove the high voltage fuses on the power supply board. There are one or two fuses depending on your board! This is only to be on the safe side. The new displays will also work with installed fuses. But the high voltage is not any longer in use after the conversion to PinLED Displays.

    17. Build in the Display / Speaker Panel.

    18. Install the Backglass again.

    19. Connect the mains plug.

    20. That's it! Switch on the pinball and enjoy playing in new dimensions.....

Point 3:

Get the new PinLED Display into a suitable position.

Take the four spacers which are included in the PinLED Display-Set into a suitable position..

Point 9:

Mount the display with the four screws.

Points 11 and 12:

Remove the old Jackpot display and the old flat cable to the old Jackpot display ( it has not enough wires!).

Point 13:

Lay the flat cable which is included in the PinLED Display-Set. When you put it through the hole off the wooden panel make sure that the red wire shows down.

Point 14:

Connect the end of the flat cable to the PinLED Jackpot display and install it. You hear a "click" if the board is mounted probably.

Point 15:

Connect the other end of the flat cable to the main PinLED Display board. It is the jack on the right side of the board.

Point 16:

Remove the high voltage fuses on the power supply board!

Point 20:

Ready to go.....
