Installation guide for the PinLED Display-Set 10007

If you follow the steps the installation is very easy and safe.

Unplug the mains plug.

Open the Backbox.

Put the Display / Speaker Panel on the playfield cover glass.

Put the Display / Speaker Panel on the playfield cover glass.

Disconnect the cables from the original display. The two connector cables J306 and 307 won't be in use any longer! You can leave the two cables at the back of the Backbox.

Remove the four screws of the old display. You will need them later to mount the new display.

Remove the old display.

Get the new PinLED Display into a suitable position.

Take the four spacers which are included in the PinLED Display-Set into a suitable position.

Mount the PinLED Display with the four screws.

Connect the new power cable which is included in the set to the power jack (6 pins) on the PinLED Display-Set. Mount the other end of the power cable to the 9Volt AC circuit with the two connecting clamps. The best place to do this is J101 (the two red wires) at the driver board. The jack is located at the right side of the driver board. It is the lowest of the three jacks. This can be done with a pair of pliers.

Connect the flat cables from the WPC-89 board to the new display. The red wire on the flat cable is then on the left of the new PinLED Display board (Pin 1) and on the WPC-89 board to the bottom (Pin 1).

Build in the Display / Speaker Panel.

Install the Backglass again.

Connect the mains plug.

That's it! Switch on the pinball and enjoy playing in new dimensions.....

Point 3:
Put the Display / Speaker Panel on the playfield cover glass.

Mount the PinLED Display with the four screws.

Point 10:
Connect the new power cable which is included in the set to the power jack (6 pins) on the PinLED Display-Set.

Mount the other end of the power cable to the 9Volt AC circuit with the two connecting clamps. (two red wires of J101) For this you can use a pair of pliers.

After connection push J101 back into position.

Point 11:
Connect the flat cables from the WPC-89 board to the new display. The red wire of the flat cable is on the left of the new PinLED Display board (Pin 1) and on the WPC-89 board to the bottom (Pin 1).

Point 11:
The red LED shows that the power supply is working properly.
The fuse is located behind the four diodes and has a value of 2.5A.

Points 12 bis 15:
Build in the Display / Speaker Panel. Install the Backglass again. Connect the mains plug. That's it! Switch on the pinball and enjoy playing in new dimensions...
