Installation guide for the PinLED Solid State Flipper Board 40001

If you follow the steps the installation is very easy and safe.

    • Unplug the mains plug. 

    • In most Data East pinballs the Solid State Flipper Board is located in the cabinet. (Except Apollo 13 and Golden Eye. The Solid State Flipper Board is located in the Backbox).

    • Open the coin door and remove the Lockbar.

    • Remove the playfield glass plate and flip up the playfield.

    • The Solid State Flipper Board is located at the left cabinet side.

    • Remove the two cables from the Solid State Flipper Board.

    • Remove the four mounting screws.

    • Remove the old board.

    • Get the new PinLED Solid State Flipper Board into a suitable Position.

    • Mount the PinLED Solid State Flipper Board with the four screws and the four spacers.

    • Connect the two cables again. You can't mix them up!

    • Adjust DIP-Switches on the PinLED Solid State Flipper Board (look table).

    • Flip down the playfield again.

    • Lock the lockbar.

    • Connect the main plug.

    • That's it! Switch on the pinball and enjoy playing...

The old Solid State Flipper Board is located on the left side in the backbox (Apollo 13).

Remove the two cables from the Solid State Flipper Board.

Mount the PinLED Solid State Flipper Board with the four screws and the four spacers.

  1. Right (9-pol connector): Non EOS pinballs - look table (both DIP-switches ON).
  2. Middle (10-pol connector): EOS pinballs - look table (both DIP-switches OFF).
  3. Left (12-pol connector): EOS pinballs - look table (both DIP-switches OFF).

  2. Left (9-pol connector): All pinballs with two (four) flippers.
