PinLED Fliptronic Board I+II 100

A improve new development of the Fliptronic Boards A-15028 / A-15472-1. Our PinLED Fliptronic Board is a replacement for defective original boards. The board has brand new innovations and has this four advantages:

New development of the driver section
LEDs to control the fuses of the flipper coils
Combined Fliptronic Board I+II
Increase the power of the flipper coils

It is possible to go new ways in circuit board design with new parts. We use the most modern parts on this board and this will help us to eliminate all of the bad failures that you can find on the old boards.

New development of the driver section: We use MOSFET transistors therefore we were able to reduce the number of parts considerably. MOSFETs are able to switch a high amount of current with a very small on-resistance. They have a lot of advantages towards the original used TIP36C transistors. The TIP36C are often broken because of an malfunction of the CPU or a bad coil. And if the coil conduct a longer period of time, the transistor dies the "heat death". The MOSFETs have the big advantage that they normally can't get damaged even with bad coils or incorrect signals from the CPU. We also made stronger wires in the driver section on the board, so that burned out wires belong to the past.
LEDs to control the fuses of the flipper coils: We added four LEDs for the optical control of the flipper coil fuses. This feature makes it easier for you to check the board for a blown fuse.
Combined Fliptronic Board I+II: The Addams Family uses as the only one the Fliptronic I board. All later pinballs use the Fliptronic II version. We combined the two versions on one board because the difference between the Fliptronic I and II is very small. If you use our board in the Addams Family you simply don't connect the power cables to the fuses and the rectifier.
Increase the power of the flipper coils: With the new PinLED Fliptronic Board installed the power of the flipper coils will increase. This happens because of the smaller on-resistance of the MOSFETs. Normal transistors have a larger on-resistance that decreases the power of the flipper coils. With our board installed you can get all the steep ramps that the original Fliptronic Board fails.

The PinLED Fliptronic Board I+II is "Plug and Play". All plugs are the same like the original. The installation takes only 5 minutes! You will find a detailed installation instruction on our support site.

The next two pictures show the different between the PinLED Fliptronic I+II Board and the original Williams Fliptronic II Board.

As you can see is the number of used parts almost the half of the original board. This decreases the error rate and the breakdown time dramatically.
