With the PinLED Single Trough Up-Kicker Opto Board it is possible to increase the functionality.

Simplify build: The original Data East / SEGA version uses a visible light beam. A super bright red LED produces this light beam. The receiver is also a LED. This LED is driven in reverse mode. This principle works not so good and assume a very good alignment of the transmitter and receiver diode. A common failure is that the diodes are not lined up properly. Our PinLED Single Trough Up-Kicker Boards is based on the better Bally/Williams technique. Here a infrared light beam is in operation. This reduces the number of used parts about 40%.

Infrared light beam: The principle of the infrared light beam works more safer and more failure free as the original LED light beam. After installing you don't need to align the beam because the infrared principle is working better.
The PinLED Single Trough Up-Kicker Board 40005 is "Plug and Play". All plugs are the same like the original. The installation takes only 5 minutes! Our set doesn't come with the rubber chock damper. You have to use the old ones. Please remove them from your old boards.
