From October 1st, 2021, new rules will apply that affect VAT in all EU countries
Due to the EU sales tax reform introduced on July 1st, 2021, the sales tax rate of the respective destination country applies to retailers if the annual net sales volume of EU foreign sales exceeds € 10,000.
- All prices of my products shown in the shop include German VAT of currently 19%.
- For deliveries to other EU countries, the current VAT rates of the respective country of delivery apply from October 1st, 2021. That is why the final prices differ from my prices displayed in the shop (they are a little higher).
- The net price is always the same for all customers, regardless of which country (EU or non-EU) the order comes from.
- The prices for traders with a valid tax ID number who order from other EU countries remain unaffected by this, as these customers only pay the net prices.
